A serial entrepreneur, Meakem founded FreeMarkets Inc. in 1995, which was later sold for $500 million. He also formerly headed up a venture capital fund and was a former radio host based in Pittsburgh, Pa. For the past eight years, he has devoted his energy to Forever.com.
